How the converter works

The converter relates RF power and voltage using the selected resistive load impedance. Enter a value in any field and all other quantities are updated immediately.

P = VRMS2 / R

VRMS = √(P × R)

dBm = 10 log10(P / 1 mW)

dBW = dBm − 30

dBµV = dBV + 120

Display formats

Electronics mode uses standard SI prefixes such as p, n, µ, m, k, M and G. Scientific, significant-digit and fixed-point representations are also available.
